Santa Cruz and Santa Fe Island Tour

This 4-day Galapagos Islands tour combines Santa Cruz with the smaller, quieter Santa Fe — a relaxed introduction to two of the archipelago's most visitor-friendly islands. Begin on Santa Cruz: the volcano twin crater inland, the Darwin Research Center, and the famous Turtle Beach where turtles and marine iguanas rest in their natural habitat. Puerto Ayora is your base, with time to explore the local market, walk the harbor, and stop at the popular selfie spot every traveler knows. The Santa Fe portion is a half-and-half excursion of hiking and swimming. The island's volcanic landscape is home to a wide diversity of animals — sea lions, iguanas, crabs and different bird species — which your guide will point out on the walking trail. The trip ends with a swim in the bay of Santa Fe, where warm clear blue water draws in sea turtles, schools of colorful fish, stingrays and other marine life. Airport-hotel taxi service is included; your hotel sits in the center of Puerto Ayora. On day four, after breakfast, your taxi will return you to the airport.
