Would you like to see Quito from a panoramic point of view, enjoy the great outdoors of the Andes Mountains and experience a visit to the Equator line? You start at the TeleferiQo. The cable car lifts you up the slopes of Pichincha. Here you have a panoramic view over Quito and the surrounding Andes. At the top there is room to hike or walk, with a mountain restaurant to refuel.
From there your guide takes you to Pululahua. This famous green volcanic crater is ideal for pictures. The crater offers a trail around the rim and inside down the lake. Let your guide explains its geology and life. The day closes at the famous Equator line, where you stand in two hemispheres at once. Bring a camera and an extra piece of clothing in case it gets cold.
