The 2 hour drive brings you from Quito to Mindo with spectacular sightings along the way. In Mindo you feed hummingbirds

from your hand. Hike the green jungle, visit multiple waterfalls and swim in the river. You stay overnight in Mindo. Watch for the parrots and toucans that live here in the wild. To finish the tour, you visit the chocolate museum where high-quality cacao becomes chocolate. After the chocolate experience, your guide drives you back to your hotel in Quito.

Day 1: Hummingbirds and waterfalls
Drive about two hours from Quito in the high Andes into the cloud forest of Mindo. Feed hummingbirds from your hand. Hike the jungle to its waterfalls and swim in the river. Sleep in Mindo.
Day 2: Chocolate museum and Quito return
Go bird spotting: See parrots and toucans in their natural habitat. Visit the chocolate museum and taste real Ecuadorian chocolate. Enjoy the route back to Quito with your guide.
