- Day 1
Into the jungle
Meet your guide in Coca at your hotel. You will walk together to the harbor of the town. Travel by motor boat down the Napo river deep into the Amazon Rainforest. Arrive at your comfortable ecolodge and settle in. Enjoy lunch for new energy to set out on a guided rainforest hike. Spot exotic birds and frogs. Discover medicinal-plants. Visit a majestic giant old tree along the route. Enjoy dinner at the lodge. Take an optional swim in the Napo River. Relax in the central cabin and hear about Kichwa stories, myths, and legends.
- Day 2
Pink dolphins, lagoons and a night safari
Rise early to search to see pink river dolphins. Travel by canoe through the jungle to watch monkeys, birds, and otters in dense Yasuní vegetation. Try your luck with piranha fishing. After a campsite break with meal, head out on a nighttime black caiman sighting. Return to the ecolodge for dinner. Enjoy local dishes with fresh and healthy ingredients.
- Day 3
Medicinal plant, blowgun and chicha workshop
After breakfast, take part in a hands-on demonstration of medicinal plants and the traditional bodoquera (blowgun). Learn to prepare and taste yuca chicha. This is a popular drink among indigenous people. Enjoy a final lunch before your river journey back to El Coca, where the tour ends. Note: the itinerary may shift depending on weather and river conditions.
