This Amazon Rainforest tour of 4 days brings you to Yasuni National Park. Yasuni is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. This 4-day, 3-night tour includes 2 full days of jungle adventure and exotic exploration.
You travel with a local tour guide deep inside the Amazon Rainforest. Over 4 days you will explore the jungle for pink river dolphins. Hike trails and learn about medicinal plants. See the largest tree of the Yasuni region. Spot monkeys, parrots and other exotic birds along the way. After dark the forest changes: spot frogs, glowing insects and caimans along the water. Learn to prepare traditional yuca chicha. A very popular lemonade or strong drink by local Indigenous people.

- Day 1
From Coca hotel tot Yasuni ecolodge
Meet at the Auca Hotel in El Coca for an American breakfast. Here you local guide will pick you. You travel by river into the jungle of Yasuni. Settle in on arrival at your ecolodge and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch. After lunch, set out on a 2.5-hour hike to see medicinal plants and one of the largest trees in Yasuni. After dinner, head out on a night hike for frogs, insects and reptiles. The same rainforest offers a whole different wildlige when it is dark. Rest well in your ecolodge between the jungle trees.
- Day 2
Pink dolphins and jungle exploration
After breakfast, explore the rivers in search of pink river dolphins. Make sure to take plenty of photos of this unique wildlife experience. Continue the exploration towards the Ministry of Environment Control Station for lunch. After lunch your adventure continues with a short hike to spot wildlife. Encounter colorful birds, monkeys, exotic insects and reptiles. Enjoy dinner at the lodge and relax in the evening.
- Day 3
Jungle hike and wildlife encounters
After breakfast, take a 4-hour hike (or a shorter 2-hour trail) for wildlife encounters. See parrots, monkeys and exotic birds. Travel with rowboat and motorboat to the big lagune (Laguna Grande). See the endemic wildlife while you enjoy lunch. Try pirana finishing. while you camp at the edge of the lagoon. By night return to your ecolodge and spot caiman along the way.
- Day 4
Sunrise, chicha drink and Coca return
Rise early and cross the lagoon at sunrise. Hear how howler monkeys wake up the jung from the top of the trees. Return to your ecolodge and learn to prepare the traditional yuca chicha. Taste this popular drink among the Indigenous people. This is part of their culture. Return in the afternoon back to Coca where your Amazon jungle tour ends. Note: the itinerary may shift depending on weather and river conditions.
