From Coca to Limoncocha to Yasuni ecolodge

Meet at the Auca Hotel in El Coca for an American breakfast. Here you local guide will pick you. You travel by river to Puerto Pompeya. From here you go by car to the Limoncocha Lagoon. A great place for birdspotting. Your tour guide will offer lunch. Continue the boat along the Napo river to you ecolodge inside the Yasuni jungle. Enjoy dinner at your ecolodge and relax in the evening.

Pink dolphins and Secoya culture

After breakfast, explore the Amazon rovers to watch pink river dolphins. Take as much pictures as you like from this unique wildlife experience. Visit the Secoya community for a cultural exchange: dance and eat self prepared cassava. The cassave is a typical local cuisine. Return to the ecolodge for lunch. In the afternoon, hike to an ancient tree. This tree is one of the biggest in the Yasuni rainforest. Look for insects and frogs along the way. After dinner enjoy a Kichwa cultural dance. Relax during the evening before a good night of sleep in your ecolodge appartment.

Parrot spotting and kayaking

After breakfast, go for a 2.5 hour hike through the Yasuni region. See how parrots eat salt from salty rocks. Spot monkeys and birds along the way. Rest and have lunch to refill your energy. After lunch kayak for about 2 hours along the Yasuni river to return to your ecolodge appartment. Relax before you go to bed.

Lagoon wildlife and jungle hike

After breakfast, set out to the lagoon for watching birds and monkeys. Feel free to test your luck with finish piranha. Enjoy lunch on the water and cruise to explore the river for monkeys and birds. Follow a 4 hour trail through the jungle with wildlife encounters. This hike is over moderate terrain. Enjoy dinner at the lodge and relax during the evening.

Wildlife observation tower and return to Coca

Depart early with breakfast on the boat. Make a stop at an observation tower to spot wildlife. Continue to Pompeya for lunch at the Paspanchu center. Visit the Panga Wasi to see Kichwa culture. Learn how ancesters hunted and biuld fishing traps. Continue to travel to Coca where your Amazon Rainforest tour ends. Note: the itinerary may shift depending on weather and river conditions.
